Celebrate a Polish Christmas with paper and wool decorations.
- Make wool spiders and paper chains with a twist for your own Christmas tree.
- Create your own unique paper Christmas star to hang
- Taste the Polish ginger biscuit called Pierniki
- Learn some Christmas Eve traditions, watching the first star and Wigilia supper
This workshop is available for adults and/or children during the weeks leading to Christmas.

Enjoy the Easter displays within the museum, then take home your own unique Easter craftworks.
All children to be accompanied by an adult please.

Christmas in Poland is commonly referred to as Gwiazdka, or Little Star. The holiday season is filled with festivities. This exhibition is on from 1-17 December 2023 at the Polish Museum, 125 Elliot St, Howick, Tue-Fri 10-4 & Sun 12-5. Museum entry is by donation and groups by prior arrangement for a small fee.
